These 5alas terms & conditions govern the collection of goods by Recipients from registered mosques facilitated through the 5alas platform. 5alas acts as a facilitator between donators, suppliers, and mosques, and assumes no liability for the availability, quality, or distribution of goods at the mosque.
1.1 In these Terms and Conditions:
2.1 Recipients will be notified through the 5alas platform when goods are available for collection at their local mosque.
2.2 Recipients must bring both their 5alas Number and relevant Order ID to the mosque to verify their eligibility to collect the goods.
2.3 Recipients acknowledge that mosques will decide which goods they are eligible to collect upon arrival, and availability may vary based on the mosque's distribution protocols.
2.4 Recipients may receive goods from multiple orders, and there is no limit on the number of mosques from which they may collect goods, provided they follow proper verification procedures.
2.5 Recipients understand that 5alas acts solely as a facilitator and is not responsible for the quality, quantity, or condition of goods distributed by mosques.
2.6 Recipients must treat mosque staff, volunteers, and other beneficiaries with respect at all times.
3.1 Recipients are responsible for arriving at the mosque within the designated time frame for goods collection.
3.2 Upon arrival, Recipients must present their 5alas Number and Order ID to mosque staff to verify their membership and eligibility for goods.
3.3 Mosques will determine what goods Recipients are eligible to receive upon arrival, and Recipients acknowledge that they may not receive all requested items.
3.4 Any disputes about eligibility or goods received must be raised through the 5alas platform and not directly with mosque staff.
4.1 Recipients are solely responsible for complying with the mosque's distribution rules and policies.
4.2 Recipients must ensure that the goods collected are for their personal use or distribution to their household and not for resale or misuse.
4.3 Recipients must comply with any legal, health, or safety requirements related to the collection and transportation of goods, including mosque rules on queueing, safe behaviour, and public health guidance.
5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, 5alas and its affiliates, agents, and partners have no liability whatsoever for any injury, loss, or damage arising out of or in connection with the collection of goods by Recipients from mosques.
5.2 Recipients agree to hold 5alas harmless against any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the misuse of goods or failure to comply with mosque rules during collection.
6.1 5alas may, at any time, amend these terms and conditions in its absolute discretion.
6.2 5alas may terminate a Recipient's membership at any time for failure to comply with these terms.
6.3 5alas may suspend a Recipient's account while investigating potential breaches of these terms.
7.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
7.2 The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
8.1 The collection and use of Recipient personal data is governed by the 5alas Privacy Policy, available on our website. By registering with 5alas, Recipients agree to such processing.
